Broken morning light.
Broken images in auburn hues.
A faint hint of sun comes through Venetian blinds.
I sit at my desk with the first cup of coffee,
Not having bothered to turn up the lights.
Gently wafting up on currents stirred by me
A particle tilts and gyrates side to side, up, down,
Drifting aimlessly, purposeless it would seem.
An existentialist cosmonaut
In a universe unaware of its being.
